If you’re a resident of the Village of Sharon, and would like to participate in a local, state, or federal election, the first step is to become registered to vote. In Wisconsin, there are four convenient ways to register:
Voters with a valid Wisconsin Driver License or Wisconsin State ID card issued by the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) may visit My Vote Wisconsin and register online. You will be required to enter your name, date of birth, Driver License or ID number and address that matches what is on file with the Wisconsin DMV. If all fields match, you will be able to register to vote completely online without needing to print, sign or mail the form and without needing to send a proof of residence document. If any of the fields are unable to match the information in the DMV database, you will be given the option to register via one of the other methods.
You may register online up to 20 days before the election.
Download the Application for Voter Registration, complete the form, and mail it along with a copy of your proof of residence to the Village of Sharon Village Clerk at:
Village of Sharon Clerk
PO Box 379
Sharon, WI 53585
The application must be postmarked no later than the 20th day (third Wednesday) before the election.
Register at the Village Clerk’s Office at 125 Plain St., by 5:00pm on the Friday before the next scheduled election. Please remember to bring an acceptable proof of residence.
At the Polling Place on Election Day
If you wish to register to vote at your polling place, you must bring proof that you reside at your present location.
