Public Works

The Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of streets, sidewalks, street signs, village buildings, and all village owned machinery and equipment.  Additionally DPW handles snow and ice removal, storm and sanitary sewer infrastructure maintenance, and the daily operation and maintenance of the Village’s water and wastewater systems.

Hours
The DPW is available  Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 3:30pm and on Friday 6:00am to 10:00am.  The DPW is on call 24/7, so if you have an emergency after hours that requires DPW assistance, you can contact 262-949-2943 anytime.

Brush Pick-Up
The DPW conducts curbside brush pick-up on the first Tuesday of every month from April through November.  Limbs and branches should be no longer than ten (10) feet in length and three and half (3  1/2) inches in diameter, piled at the curbside with the cut ends pointed toward the center of the street.

Any leaves, grass clippings, or yard waste can be brought down to the Village Garage and dumped in the municipal compost pile.
