Dog owners in the village are required to purchase a license for their dog when it reaches the age of 5 months.  The license is good or 1 year and must be renewed on an annual basis. Dog licenses can be purchased in person at the Village Clerk-Treasurer’s Office at 125 Plain St., Sharon, WI 53585. To obtain a dog license you will be required to submit:
  • Your dog’s current rabies vaccination certificate issued by a licensed veterinarian or anti-rabies clinic. This certificate must show:
    • The Manufacturer’s Name
    • The Serial Number and Expiration Date of the rabies vaccine
    • The Date the next rabies vaccination is due
  • Written proof of animal’s spaying or neutering, if applicable.
  • The correct license fee

To apply for an Operator’s License, applicants must successfully complete a Wisconsin Department of Revenue Responsible Beverage Server training course as listed here, fill out an application form and pay the fee at the Village Clerk-Treasurers Office.
