Have a Voice in Village Government!

Public involvement is critical when it comes to the effective operation of our Village.  Village Trustees and Village staff rely on the thoughts, experience, and ideas of appointed citizen members of our many committees, commissions, and boards.  Without the input from such citizens, the Village would be unable to make decisions that are in the best interest of the majority of our residents.

And this is a great time to get involved!  With the Village election around the corner, on April 3rd, we will be establishing committees and commissions for the upcoming year.  Currently we are looking to fill positions on:

  • Planning Commission
  • Zoning Board of Appeals
  • Streets and Parks Committee

Additional committees may have openings as well, so please do feel free to reach out if you are interested in getting involved.

If you would like to be considered for a citizen appointment or if you would like more information about any particular appointment, please contact Village Administrator David Thurnau via phone at 262-736-4888, via email at [email protected] , or you are always welcome to stop into the Clerk’s Office in person.

We certainly hope to see you involved in the operation of our community!
